A graduate of Phillipsburg High School in New Jersey, Andrew "Drew" Horun participated on the wrestling team and earned induction into the National Honor Society. Outside of his interest in wrestling, Andrew Horun enjoys watching football and supporting the New York Giants, whose starting quarterback, Eli Manning, was recently given the Ann and Wellington Mara Award.

On May 17, 2017, John Mara, president of the Giants, presented the Ann and Wellington Mara Award to Eli Manning at the Vision of Hope awards dinner in honor of his contributions to the community. The annual awards dinner benefits Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York (BHGHNY), which operates college preparatory boarding programs in Brooklyn and 14 other US cities as well as three Latin American countries. BHGHNY strives to help academically talented students from underprivileged backgrounds graduate from college.
The BHGHNY annual Vision of Hope awards dinner brings together 1,000 supporters and serves as the organization’s principal source of funding. The gala also celebrates its students’ accomplishments and honors an individual from the New York Giants. This year, Eli Manning received the honor in recognition of his longtime commitment to the New York community, as evidenced by his eight years of service as chair of the New York March for Babies and his annual participation in the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
